Spaces & Flows: Eighth International Conference on Urban and ExtraUrban Studies will be held at the University of Hull, Hull, UK, 12-13 October 2017, in conjunction with the 2017 Hull UK City of Culture year. We invite proposals for paper presentations, workshops/interactive sessions, posters/exhibits, virtual lightning talks, virtual posters, or colloquia addressing one of the following themes:


Theme 1: Urban and ExtraUrban Space
Theme 2: Human Environments and Ecosystemic Effects
Theme 3: Material and Immaterial Flows

CONFERENCE SUBMISSION DEADLINES


The next proposal deadline is 12 December 2016. We welcome the submission of presentation proposals at any time of the year up until 30 days before the start of the conference. All proposals will be reviewed within two to four weeks of submission.




PLENARY SPEAKER
- Andy C. Pratt, City University London, London, UK

Andy is an internationally acclaimed expert on the topic of the cultural industries. He has held academic appointments at University College London (Bartlett School of Planning) and LSE (Geography, and Urban Research Centre), King’s College, London (Culture, Media and Creative Industries). He joined City University London in 2013. Andy established and was Director of the Urban Research Centre at LSE, founding chair of the Department of Culture, Media and Creative Industries at KCL, and is currently Director of the Centre for Culture and the Creative Industries at City University London.

New Full Paper/Poster/Abstract Submissions Deadline: Oct. 22, 2016
The idea of International Research Conference on Social Sciences, Humanities and Interdisciplinary Studies (RCSSHIS-2016) scheduled on Dec. 16-17, 2016 at Pattaya (Thailand) is for the researchers, scientists, scholars, engineers and parctitioners from all around the world to present and share ongoing research activities. This conference provides opportunities for the delegates to exchange new ideas and application experiences face to face, to establish business or research relations and to find global partners for future collaboration.
RCSSHIS-2016 is sponsored by Dignified Researchers Publication (DiRPUB).

All full paper submissions will be peer reviewed and evaluated based on originality, technical and/or research content/depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. One Best Presentation Award from each session will also be distributed at the time of the conference
All accepted papers of RCSSHIS-2016 will be published in the printed conference proceedings with valid International ISBN number. Each Paper will be assigned unique Digital Object Identifier(DOI) from CROSSREF and the Proceedings of the Conference will be archived in DiRPUB's Digital Library. The Proceeding will be also submitted to SCOPUS/ISI Thomson for review. In addition the proceedings will be indexed at all major search engines.
English is the official language of the conference. We welcome paper submissions. There are NO specific instructions for poster preparation. Just prepare and print the poster in Portrait style of size A1 or below and make sure to put more Pictures/Diagrams/Graphs to depict the results so that poster should look vivid and gets everybody’s attention.
Just prepare the one-page electronic format just as that of the conference template attached and print that on the any size in A1

VIOLENCE STUDIES

CALL FOR PAPERS
VIOLENCE STUDIES '17 / Interdisciplinary Conference on Documentation, Experience and Description of Violence will be held at Nippon Meeting Halls in Istanbul. The conference is coordinated by DAKAM (Eastern Mediterranean Academic Research Center) and will be organized by BILSAS (Science, Art, Sport Productions).
 
The event will be held together along with DYING AND DEATH '17 / Interdisciplinary Conference on Dying and Death in Art, Philosophy, Law and Politics and LAW STUDIES '17 / Interdisciplinary Conference on Law and Legal Studies. Participants will be able to attend any of the sessions of these conferences.
 
All abstracts are going to be selected according to double blind reviews and accepted papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings E-Book with an ISBN number that will be given to you in a DVD box during conference registration.
